Sakura Nails



The beautiful hand drawn nail art on my nails spell it all out. Yes! It's Sakura flower if you recognized it. 
After my previous set of Spring Floral nails, I'm still obsessed about flower art! 
Part of the Spring season reminds me about the beautifully bloom of sakura flowers and that triggers me the idea of getting Celine to do up a Sakura flower theme for my nails. 


If you look closely on the base color of nails, it is actually a blend of orange and light pink to bring out a dual tone color effect. I love how she match the hand drawn sakura flowers with multi-color disco balls and glitters to add in the effect of "falling petals". Not forgetting my "SOP" rule of nails - "BLINGS" but not too overly done. :)

I wonder how can any girl stand having bare and unmaintained nails? Even if it's not a complicated nail art  but at least a simple manicure with polish on nails look so much better than plain and bare nails!

Introducing the my first set of Spring design collection nails - Floral Nails!

Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day had past, now it's March and its coming to an end soon. This set of beautiful floral nails was done earlier this month by Celine. This time round I did not came to her specifically with a design or theme I wanted but I told her that we can do some floral design nails as I had always wanted to do but somehow rather I always changed my mind.



So instead of the usual pink nails you always see on my nail collections, I won't mind trying other pastel colors. I leave it to Celine' creativity and somehow she doesn't fails me even if I do not give her my preferences. She knows me well I guess. :)

So she chose 2 shades of blue: baby blue and turquoise using white as base. Using baby blue & turquoise gel polish to draw stripes on my alternate fingers leaving one finger fully painted. Then she hand painted the baby roses on the tips of those nails painted with strips.

The nail that were painted fully were each decorated with a 4D rose and a rose nail art embedded with crystals around it!

[NailArt Collections] CNY + V'Day Love

This picture says it all about the season of the month.

It's Chinese New Year... and Valentine's Day is approaching as well, so what could be better than combining CNY with V'day? Get 2 sets of nails for the price of 1! While doing research of what's popular for 2014 CNY nail art on Instagram, I discovered that "Maneki-Neko" (Japanese term for Fortune Cat) was one of the popular designs. And with V'day coming, RED is definitely a must color for my polish base. But it would look too "reddish" if all my nails were of that colour. 

So I combined a Red and Pearl base with "French Heart" tips, lined with gold glitter to enhance the "French Heart Shape" on my nails.


Take a closer look at the "Shining Red Heart" on the middle fingers!

To strike a balance with the V'Day mood, Celine drew a Red Heart and pasted "Red Disco Balls" on it to highlight the "Shining Heart" effect. (Hee..I love it ttm!)

[Nail Collections] Glitter & Glam

Hi everyone! I'm back to share with you my nail collections again! Sorry that I went missing for a while as I was really swamped by work last month. 

Anyway, before I went to Celine to do my nails again, I already had a theme in mind. I wanted my nails to match my black-laced pink dress which I bought from ASOS to attend my ex-colleague's wedding last month.

And so I chose black and pink glitter as the base because the fashion trend during the year end is usually all about "glitter"! Celine suggested doing half pink and black on every nail instead of the usual French glitter which you may notice in almost every other nail salon. That'd be too boring for me, haha! 

When it comes to expressing my "style", if you have read my blog before, you would know that "BLING" is a MUST-HAVE in every set of nails. So every individual nail was adorned with Swarovski crystals of different sizes, except for a huge black crystal on my 1st finger which was actually a whole accessory piece. Amazing, isn't it?

 To some of my friends, it seems "over the top", but I LOVE IT to the max. I had definitely caught some attention when I was at the wedding!
