{Staycation Review} Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong - Luxury Boutique Hotel
Hello everybody!
This is my first blog post on writing for staycation reviews in Singapore and it is going to be my focus for all my blog posts from now! I do hope this will be useful when making a decision on where to go for staycation.
Staycation is hassle free vacation although we do not "Get-away" by going out of Singapore. You do not need to get stuck in massive jams over weekends to JB, neither do you need to squeeze with the human traffic of heading to Batam, unnecessary "Weekend Surcharges" in Bintan when travelling over weekends and PHs.
If you want to go to a "Get-away" place where most people may not of yet, Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong is one of the latest boutique hotel opened in late June 2016. Unless you read alot of news if not I am pretty confident that , you or your friends would be asking where this hotel is.
Managed under InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG), there are 70 Hotel Indigos worldwide including it's latest addition Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong.
Concept of Indigo Hotels? No Two properties are alike, you will probably not find another Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong in other countries likewise for other countries Indigo Hotels.
Designed to reflect the local culture, character and history of the surrounding area. The hotel, housed in the former Joo Chiat police station, features design infused with the local Peranakan culture expressing the culture around the neighborhood as Katong is well known for its Peranankan culture.
I was pretty curious where exactly this hotel is when I booked the hotel online via Agoda. Even the taxi driver who sent me had not come across the hotel.
Anywhere is Singapore is not hard to locate with the help of Google Maps, my best friend! And so my wonderful staycation starts here..
