{Review} Lioele - Multi Seaweed Gel

Hi everyone,

I'm back again! How has your week been?  I'm still bitten by the "Korean bug" even though it has been 2 months since I last visited the country.
I received a Korean skincare product which was given by Beauty In The Eyes in my goodie bag a few weeks back when I attended their soft launch event. You can read more Here.
Lioele (pronounced: Lee-oh-eh-lee) is another Korean beauty brand that I'm starting to adore because of the super-cute packaging! Based on my research, they don't have any retail stores like other popular Korean beauty brands, but their products can be purchased from their online stores and some Korean beauty portals too. I have to say that I don't remember seeing their retail outlets when I was in Seoul. That doesn't mean the brand isn't popular.  My personal view is that they are probably not venturing into the retail scene in a big way.

Well, as least there is a reliable Korean beauty supplier - Beauty In The Eyes - that sells their products here in Singapore!

I'll let the photos do the talking now!

Lioele Multi Seaweed Gel
The exterior packaging

The fragrance is very mild - not strongly scented. Don't worry, it doesn't have a seaweed smell!

Use the spoon provided to scoop the gel out, for hygiene purposes!

Spread a small amount on the forehead, cheeks, nose & chin.

Gently massage and blend onto the face.
Look at the hydrated texture on my face - and it doesn't leave a STICKY feeling! Super loving it!

The texture of the seaweed gel is super-duper light and watery. You can actually see it dripping the moment I spread it on!

After blending
Absorbed into my skin really fast!

This multi seaweed gel can act as a moisturizer for your face and body! It is suitable for all skin types, especially those with dry skin like me. It prevents the skin from ageing faster and also rejuvenates it.
The gel contains 90% seaweed extract and is highly hydrating!
For those who don't like to put on layers of skincare cream, you can opt for this seaweed gel.
I tried applying it before putting on my sunblock and makeup. Surprisingly,  my makeup lasted the whole day without any need for touching up and the gel did not make my face feel oily, even after long hours!
You can get Lioele Multi Seaweed Gel from Beauty In The Eyes online store at only $20.95!
I would highly recommend that YOU girls go grab one and try it today!  It's cheap and good!
Such products are hard to come by.

Here's the Link to buy the gel!
Hope you find this information useful!

See ya all soon!

Love,
Pinkie

{Event} Beauty In The Eyes Soft Launch Party

Are you Korean Inspired?

If you are a K-Pop fanatic (like me!), then surely you must love K-Pop stars, K-Food and, not to mention, Korean beauty cosmetics and skincare products. As for me, you can imagine that I COVET EVERYTHING & ANYTHING KOREAN! Because I'm really inspired by everything they do.

I realised my second dream Asian travel destination - South Korea - when I travelled to Seoul 2 months ago for a "shopping fest" to pick up makeup & skincare products. It was sheer madness for a "kiasu" shopper like me as I squeezed every last purchase into my luggage, so much so that it was bursting at the seams!

BUT WHY GO THROUGH THE HASSLE of flying there just to replenish your supplies and weigh down your luggage?

Just when I was thinking of asking my colleague - who is travelling to South Korea soon - to help me top up my Laneige Sleeping Mask Pack supply, I received an invitation by Street Directory from Beauty In The Eyes  to attend the launch of their online shopping portal for Korean beauty and skincare products.
It was like a dream come true. First, I no longer need to trouble my colleague to buy any products for me. Second, the event was to be held at the Blisshouse Theme Restaurant which I had been wanting to visit for a long time. So why not kill two birds with one stone?!

At Blisshouse, I was ushered into a private room and seated with other bloggers.
The session started shortly after everyone arrived with an ice-breaker session -  answering a few beauty trivia questions by Nicole (Street Directory's blogger host).

Got my allocated seat based on the goodie bag on the table!

Tada! My freebies from the goodie bag!
A pink jelly purse & Lioele Multi Seaweed Gel! Isn't it awesome?

What is Beauty In The Eyes ?

They are a global online beauty store that brings to you the latest beauty products from South Korea and beyond. Their aim is to reach out to beauty-conscious people who want well-known Korean products. So Beauty In The Eyes provides you with the latest and most affordable products, together with great customer service, for all your beauty and health needs. They carry popular Korean brands like Innisfree, Laneige (My favourite), Lioele, Missha, Saem, Sulwhasoo & Tony Moly!

Why Beauty In The Eyes ?

You can save yourself the hassle of flying to South Korea to buy the products because it's cheaper (FYI, cheaper by almost HALF) compared to Singapore! A South Korean shopping trip is not worth it if you think of the trouble and the expenses involved. Yes, you can purchase some of these products at local shops, but it is still cheaper to get them from Beauty In The Eyes online. How much cheaper?  About 40% compared to buying the same product at a local shop!

We were given a small test at Blisshouse: They split us into 3 different groups to "advertise" their recommended products. See below for more for info..

As you can see, Korean products are really good and they don't burn a hole in your pocket, especially when you buy from Beauty In The Eyes!

{Vacation} Weekend Getaway To Desaru (Part 2)

Day 2 : Pulai Desaru Beach Resort

This is a follow-up to my 1st day post at Desaru. We checked out around noon at Lotus and requested the staff to arrange a driver to take us to Pulai Desaru Beach Resort if possible. This was a special request as they only do ferry transfers. So we paid the driver RM10 as a small tip to take us there. If not for that, we could have fainted walking under the hot sun to the resort although it is not far.

Now I understand why Pat kept insisting on staying at Pulai instead of Lotus resort. -__-"

Views of the lobby area

Pool view! It's beautiful ,isn't it ?

The view of the resort from the pool.

While waiting for our room to be ready, we headed to the beach bar to chillax! Take a look at the beach bar. Isn't it heavenly? To me the bar has a Moroccan style feel because of the turquoise and blue.

There's a lounging area for you to laze around.
Life's good when you've got a comfy place to relax!

Can't help posing on the bean bag, It's also meant for people who just like to slouch around instead of sitting at the bar chairs.

Our Room is ready at last!
Start Drooling ..

No need to fight for a basin for washing up!

Full-length Mirror!

Our BED!!!

I love this!! What should I call this? A Sofa Bed?

A Dresser!

Just like home... TV & DVD Player
Coffee,Tea Or Me? :P
Chill out at the balcony with a view of the sea!

The SPA is a MUST when going to the beach resort! It will never be complete without the 3 "R"s
 (Rest, Relax & Rejuvenate)
Gateway to your rejuvenation!
Step this way to pamper your body!
We opted for a Couple's room!

Feeling So Pampered! Managed take a selfie before they started..hehe

Well, after seeing so many photos you can judge for yourself which resort is more worth staying. For me, I would definitely return to Pulai Beach Resort again!

Enjoying our last night at the bar!

It has been a really enjoyable experience during these 2 days although we didn't manage to stay at Pulai for 2 nights. If there is anything about the resort that you would like to find out from me, feel free to write to me or comment below!

Look forward to hearing from you!
